Internal and External Conflict In "Catching The Moon" Falling In Love

In the story "catching the moon" falling in love the main character is faced with two conflicts. One of his conflicts is Internal and the other conflict is External. In this story the characters External conflict is getting the girl that he likes to pay attention to him. He tries hard to get her to notice him but she doesn't. Finally he asks her to go out with him and she does. The External conflict occurs when he is on a date with her and he happens to catch a huge fish but he doesn't want to reel it in because the girl he likes doesn't like fishing. as a result of the two conflicts the main character looses both the fish and the girl.
