If I was the detective leading the mr maloney investigation I would have questioned mrs. maloney about her husband first of all. then I would have questioned the grocery. I would have my officers search every inch of the house. If nothing poped up I would continue to talk to mrs. maloney. If she would of asked me to eat her food it probly would have sparked a gquestioned inside me and i would have became suspicious ,but i probly wouldn't have cought her though because she did that like a pro.

Even though students at SPA want to be independent we should still put safety first. there are many reasons why I think freshman should not be able to go on self passes. First off we live in a very dangerous and crazy world filled with alot of crazy people. Second  at fourteen they dont have a job so I doubt they would be doing anything constructive. I also think that they haven't reached a level of machurity or responsibilityto have that much freedom. Not to mention the decision making. I mean from experience when teens are out roaming the streets by thereselves they tend to do stupid things.

Internal and external conflicts in "Catch the moon"

Luis is having some internal and external conflicts in the story catch the moon. Ever since his mom died he has been going in and out of juvenile hall. his relationship with his dad has gotten bad. He also started a gang called the sharks. In the mist of all the bad things he is doing he gets attracted to this girl named Naomi who is very, very, pretty. He decides to take a ride in his fathers car and see's Naomi through a big glass window and, starts  to talk to her. Naomi sparks something in him that makes him drive home and pick up a hub cap from his fathers junkyard.

"SPA Movie & Games Day Paragraph

Well I really wasn't going to go to school on Friday because I was very sick but, I didn't want to miss out on Ms. Priester's exciting lesson plans. Even though I was on quarantine Thursday night I still came to school. I was crushed when I herd we were having a fun day. I almost cried because I wanted to be in class learning not watching movies and playing basketball. Friday sucked and I hope it never happens again. The next time they plan a fun day at school all the kids should rebel and read textbooks. In my opinion fun days do not benefit students at all.

"SPA Theme Song"

The song I have chosen for our campus is "we are the world" by Michael Jackson and friends. The reason I  think this song should be our theme song is because it symbolizes us as a people that have come from many different backrounds and have overcome many hardships. It is a very inspiring song that makes me want to help people, and since there has been so much drama on campus I figured this would be a great theme song for SPA. I hope this song would inspire all my peers as much as much as it's inspired me. The song was written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, but alot of other famous artists who came together to make a song for aids relief in Africa sung on the song and did it for free.

"The Bass, The River, and Shelia Mant

In this story Shelia Mant is a complete airhead in my opinion. I think when you go on a date with someone you would show a little bit of interest concern attention or effction toward that person. Not Shelia mant. You could totaly tell from reading this story that shelia shows alot of apathy toward the boy thats trying to get her attention. The one very significant event that shows that Shelia Mant is a complete airhead is when her and her date are riding in the canoe and the boy catches a huge fish but doesn't reel it in because Shelia Mant hates fishing. this shows she is a airhead because the whole time she was riding in the canoe with her date she didn't know he was trying to hang on to a fish.

Internal and External Conflict In "Catching The Moon" Falling In Love

In the story "catching the moon" falling in love the main character is faced with two conflicts. One of his conflicts is Internal and the other conflict is External. In this story the characters External conflict is getting the girl that he likes to pay attention to him. He tries hard to get her to notice him but she doesn't. Finally he asks her to go out with him and she does. The External conflict occurs when he is on a date with her and he happens to catch a huge fish but he doesn't want to reel it in because the girl he likes doesn't like fishing. as a result of the two conflicts the main character looses both the fish and the girl.

"Catch The Moon" falling in love

From observing married couples and, looking back on my past relationships, absolutely. Falling in love changes a persons whole mind set and the way they live there life.For example my house parents are married and have a daughter. They are constantly making sacrifices for one another that they would not usually make if they were not in love. A perfect example of changing because your in love is the story of romeo and juliet. A story about two young star crossed lovers who went against there families to be together. When people fall in love they are motivated by the person that loves them being there for them no matter what.

Halloween Memory

I remember one Halloween my brothers, cousins and I went trick or treating around the block and got so much candy. My stomach was full of apple cyder and laugher. My brother Kevin played dracula and chased us around the house like he was posessed. After we were done stuffing our faces with sweet choclatey goodnesss we turned out the lights and played hide and go seek in the pitch black. It was so fun. I will never forget that 2001 halloween. I had the stomach ach of a lifetime, But I enjoyed every second of it. That halloween was probly the most fun I've had in my life.

I'm climbing up a tree trying not to fall and break a bone. I finally make it to the top and climb on to the roof of my house. I new it was a matter of time before my brothers started looking for me. While walking to the back of the house I hear the padio door open. instantly I got down as fast as I could but, it was already to late. My older brother Kevin walked out and said Isaac what are you doing up there. I said im just playing. Then he said get down now. I said alright I'll climb down the tree but, hesaid jump down now dont  worry I'll catch you. I said nope I'm climbing down the tree. He then yelled out MOM!!! I told him to shut up. He said jump I'll catch you. so I did and ended up with my face in the sand.

The storyteller from a different point of view

Sitting on the train I started to get a little petulant with the long boring ride.Two girls and my aunt sat next to a bachelor on the train who seemed really annoyed by us children. I guess my aunt decided that telling us children would calm us down or something but, the lame story she tried to tell me and the girls just made us ask questions about the story that was not that entertaining. The bachelor tells my aunt that she is a bad storyteller and my aunt tells the stranger to tell us a story. Then my aunt says to him why don't you tell them a story.The bachelor then proceeds to excite us with his magnificant story.

My favorite book of all the above would have to be The Grench Stole Christmas. It was a classic. I don't know why but, that book was realy funny to me. The Grinch was playing a mean cold harted villian but he still made me laugh. In the story the Grinch tries to stop Christmas by stealing everybodies presents but, he meets a little girl named syndie. This girl Syndie climbs all the way up a mountain to get to the Grinches cave. At first she'e scared when she see's the Grinch she's scared but, after a while she figures out that the Grinch is a soft sweet person who is just lonely. Syndie becomes the Grinches Friend and saves christmas.

Chilean Miners Rescue

Well thirty-three chilean miners were drilling seven hundred meters underground when thier access tunnel collapsed. That sucks for them. I would be so mad if that happened to me. I would also be scared of dieing from starvation and getting eaten by a huge worm or groundhog or something. If I had to summarize this incident in one word, the I would use is unprofessional. To make things worse they weren't going to be rescued until after christmas. Also workers drill a whole and sent down a camera. Wow if I was stuck underground I dont think I would be worried about A camera. In that whole they also sent down survival supplies. If that was me in the minners whole I would be so upset, I would try to sue the people who were resposible.

Essay Reflection Paragraph

In my autobiographical narrative three things I think I did well were; first I had a great introduction paragraph. My first sentence was a real attention grabber. I also gave great details and description in my story. The most important thing I need to work on in my next story is putting things in order correctly. I also need to work on is staying on topic and not talking about stuff that has nothing to do with the topic. Ms. Priester is the greatest teacher in the world. To make me become a better writer I think she should give more writing assighnments.

Mother daughter conflict

I think that young teenagers should be able to make there own choices and do what they want to do to a certain extent. When a parent steps in to much they can push there child a whole different direction. I also think that it's okay to want something for your child and you can help them get there but if they dont want to then fall back. I mean you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink it. An when the jing  me didn't want to follow in her mothers footsteps she gets angery and still tries to pursuade her to be just like her, but her mother fails to understand that her daughter is her own person.

"Two Kinds" In The Shoes Of A Prodigy

The girls conflict in this story kind of reminds me a day when I got suspended from school for fighting. I was being instigated by a kid on the wrong day and I snapped on him and we started fighting. When my came and pickrd me up from the office he looked realy angry. On the ride home he questioned me about what happened and I told him. When we got home I went straight to my room and did my homework. After I was done my dad called me outside and made me put on a baseball glove. My dad new I hated baseball and would rather clean the whole house than to play it.

Hi Ms. Priester,

I feel like my grade is better than it was last week, but its still not where I want it to be. I know that I could do much better, and I could definetly give more effort. I think I got the grade I deserve but i'm not happy with it. The reason I have this grade is because I simply did not get my work done. One of my strenghts in this class is I like to write. I have a couple of challenges in this class that play a huge factor in why I am doing so poor is I don't know how to do alot of the stuff the class is doing because no tought me how. Another challenge is keeping my mouth shut in your class. For some reason I just like to talk ,sing and rap after lunch. To improve my grade I need to shut up and do my work. The campus can help by getting the internet back up in our my house. Ms. priester can help by assisting me in class when she  see's me trying to do my work. I hope to have an A at the end of the quarter.

My first day attending san pasqual academy was kind of boring but it was a learning experience for me. I didn't realy talk much because I was trying to scope everything out. What I mean by that is I was watching everyone closely and seeing who I wanted to associate myself with. I was also looking out for people I can't trust. For the most part my first day san pasqual academy went smoothly. I mean when you look this good  you expect everyone to talk to you. I got to meat alot of people and they seemed nice. Everyone I talked to seemed to be realy interested in what i was doing.

"Two kinds" conflict experience

one night when I was 14 I went AWOL from Polinski and caught up with a group of old friends that I new since I was little. Latter on I came to find out they were not my friends at all. We were hanging out at the park when one of them said lets do a bottle run. Now a bottle run is when someone walks into an Albertsons or some kind of grocery store and grabs a bottle of alcohol then walks out with it. They told me to do it because they've seen me do it before. I told them that I'm straight I don't even drink. then they started talking a bunch of crap that made me mad. next thing I know I end up fighting one of them and got beat up.

OAATS analysis of a peer

I am going to write about a guy named Terrell who I happen to live with. Terrell cracks me up because he acts so goofy. In simpler words he's funny. I will never forget that night. I was alarmed by the smell of burning wall paper,and all I hear is Maggie get out. I was scared. when I look in the mirror, what happened that night always seems to trouble me. Kids at school always point and laugh. Then I look at my sister Dee and she makes me jealous of her good looks, but I still love her and my mother even though my mother has man hands. My sister decided to bring her boyfriend over and he made me feel really weird. As soon as I seen our new house ti was like deja vue all over again. The house was almost exactly the same. My family has a couple traditions that I value. One of our traditions is every thanksgiving the family gets together and has a big dinner. another tradition in our family is on the fourth of july. As a young child I never realized how much  9-11 impacted my family, after all I was only 5 years old. My mom was a full puerto rican who grew up in Gun Hill new york so her whole side of the family was from back East. Now I know why she got so upset when she saw the news. at the time of  9/11 I didn't know what was going on, all I wanted to do was play with my four brothers. When I look back on it now I am so thankful that me my mom and my brothers and I were okay because we were planning to take a trip out to brookly'n to see my grandma.

The purpose of the "Pedestrian Paragraph"

I believe that the authors main purpose for writing this story was to show how the world has evolved into a technology based environment. I also think that the author wanted to show how all this new technology can effect our society. New technology I think has improved our world, and I think what the author is trying to exprees is that who's to say that 50 years from now this new technology won't skrew up our entire exisistance forever.

Life in 2053

In 2053 I believe people will be floating around in spaceships. I say that because technology is getting so big in todays society. I hope that the worlds population will continue to grow and technoloy will continue to advance without messing up the earth. By the time 2053 comes around I will be  a multi millionare sitting on my beach house watching dolphins swim because by then I'm sure I will have binocular like glasses that I can see from miles away with. I would have programed robot maids who would wait on me hand and foot and tell me alsome things about myself daily.

Poem Analysis

The two pieces of literature "The dead mans pocket" and "I want a social life with friends" are very similar to one another in my perspective. theme in both stories was that letting work come in between you and your love ones can make you do stupid things. For example the guy in the dead mans pocket gave up going to the movies with his wife for working The guy in I want a social life with friends went to parties effecting the relationship between him and the love of his. life In my opinion the moral of both these stories is don't let anything come between your love life. .
